Redefine over time
Sculptra could help you achieve the natural look you want, to reflect how you feel. |

How it works
Sculptra is a biocompatible, resorbable injectable filler composed of poly-L-lactic (PLLA). Sculptra works differently from traditional fillers. It's a unique collagen replenishing treatment that helps to gradually and subtly reduce lines, wrinkles and folds.
By helping to replenish your own facial collagen that's been lost over time, it can give you a more natural look that can last for up to 2 years. |

Confidence that shows
How long has Sculptra been used?
Sculptra has been used since 1999. Estimates of worldwide use are that upwards of 150,000 patients have been treated.

Is Sculptra US FDA-approved?
Yes, the US FDA has approved Sculptra for the correction shallow to deep nasolabial fold (smile lines) contour deficiencies and other facial wrinkles.

Who will perform my procedure?
Always look for a qualified practitioner to discuss and administer facial rejuvenation treatments. It is important to ask your practitioner in-depth questions, to ensure that you understand the treatments available to you, their benefits, safety records and costs.

What are the possible side effects?
They may include discomfort at the injection site, redness, bruising, bleeding, itching and swelling, typically resolving in hours to one week. Other side effects may include small lumps under the skin that are sometimes noticeable when pressing on the treated area. Larger lumps, some with delayed onset with or without inflammation or skin discolouration, have also been reported. In a key clinical study the numbers of small and lager lumps were low and most resolved without treatment. Post-injection massage is reported to decrease the incidence of lumps and nodules.

Facing up to ageing
Ageing is a fact of life. And it usually shows most on our faces. Often we begin to notice its effects in our 20s when fine wrinkles, light blemishes and sunspots begin to appear. But why shouldn't the way we still feel on the inside continue to be subtly reflected on the outside?
You know what you want
However, with the range of modern, non- surgical aesthetic treatments now available to help regain what our skin has lost, more of us are choosing to help lessen the impact of ageing and cleverly refresh the way we look.
What is suitable for you?
While treatment selcetion and results depend on your age, type of lines, the particular substance being injected and what you wish to achieve, your practitioner will discuss and advise on what's best for you.
But if you are looking for a gradual, longer lasting result, there is one tried and trusted treatment that may be just right for you. |
