Q: How to differentiate melanoma? |
A: The ways to differentiate normal mole, naevi and malignant melanoma are shown in the below diagram:
Mole or naevi is symmetry, and its shape is circle or ellipse. It is black in color and the area is small.
Malignant melanoma is four-side asymmetry with irregular shape. It is brown or blue in color, with different deepness of color. Its area is bigger than mole and naevi. Normally, the diameter of malignant melanoma is more than 6mm.
